Kanako Sakuragi, a college student struggling with job hunting and unable to secure a job offer, has lost confidence, thinking "I’m not needed in society." One day, she gets caught up in a natural disaster known as a “kaiki” during an interview. Rescued from this peril by Hitomi Koshigaya, a delinquent magical girl, Kanako ends up assisting Hitomi in battling the kaiki with her remarkable memory. Furthermore, the magical girl career she admired turns out to be a dangerous job that sometimes even risks lives…
