Takanosaki High School, a prestigious school aiming for consecutive victories in the national cheerleading competition. Despite being a first-year student, Misora Kanata, who won the middle school championship as part of the A team, loses her ability to jump due to a mistake during the competition.
Then, one day, Kanata encounters Ryoha Kobuchi, a parkour high school girl who leaps from building to building alongside trains, and who catches her eye.
Kanata, Ryoha, Shion, a rhythmic gymnastics prodigy; Anna, a returnee from Brazil; Nodoka, Anzu's classmate and a yoga philosophy enthusiast; and Megumi, Kanata's former teammate who now uses a wheelchair.
With members whose hobbies, skills, and personalities are all different, they sing, collide, perform stunts, and fantasize together. When their pure desire to support each other aligns, the cheers of PoMPoMs (Pompons) transcend the boundaries of cheerleading and touch people's hearts
