Answering a call from 12,000 years ago, the connection made is a broken heart. When the sun, moon, and Mars meet, a new melody of fusion will play!
On a small island off the coast of Shonan, Enoshima, there lies Enoshima Academy, a beautiful and peaceful school. Students from all over the country, the most gifted children, are gathered here to receive advanced education with the latest technology.
Three students, Sakko, Rimiya, and Toshi, chosen to join the special reinforcement class known as Elements, are given the command to pilot combat machines known as Vector Machines, powered by their emotions, and forced to fight mysterious alien weapons called Mythological Beasts.
During one of these battles, Sakko is guided by a strange vision and shouts:
"Fusion of the stars! Go, Aquarion!"
At the end of the endless cycle of reincarnation, the mechanical sky-winged Aquarion appears.
Burdened with fate, these boys and girls will come to face the truth of this universe as they become entangled in the schemes of a mysterious organization called the Cosmic Egg Society and the adult world.
This is a grand love story, woven together as they risk everything, their emotions and the fate of the universe.
