Amid the ongoing wars with the Gray Monkey Tribe (Macaque), the Pigmen (Ogre), and other demi-human races invading human lands, Kai, a young boy from Rag Village, spends his days fighting to protect his village.
As his comrades fall one by one in the face of fierce battles forced upon them by powerful beings known as "Blessed Ones," who possess overwhelming strength, Kai suddenly recalls a "strange memory"—something he could never have experienced before. This memory reveals knowledge of advanced technology and the way of life from a civilization more advanced than the one in this world.
Although Kai was once just a simple villager, he is soon drawn into a great trial that will change his life...
Thus begins a grand fantasy about a boy's battles and growth in a harsh world.
