“Turkey”—a bowling term for three consecutive strikes.
Mai, a second-year student and captain of the Ichikkan High School Bowling Club, is a genius who can’t win.
Every time she lands a Turkey, for some mysterious reason, she always follows it with an impossible split—a Snake Eye.
Then one day, the club’s only first-year member, Rina, confronts her:
“You’re doing it on purpose.”
“You’re running away from winning. I want to win.
If you’re not serious about that, I’ll quit.”
This is the story of five girls—Mai, Rina, Sayuri, Nozomi, and Nanase—
members of the Ichikkan High School Bowling Club,
who lose and fight, lose and fight,
and keep standing up until they win.
A late-summer story of friendship, frustration, and the courage to aim for victory—
