Don't ever let me down Don't think my life is fun Who ever told you that Oh, you got it bad! Believe me when I say My life is a shame Who ever told you like that
It's just dreaming', you've got to know What a dreamin', nothing is real Nothing to talk about What a dreamin', Listen to what I will say
Get ready for lovin' You've got so many chances to reach for your love More and more Get ready for lovin' It's your love, don't give up, try and make it real
I've got to tell you why Tonight I'm feeling gine Whenever feeling blue I'm looking for you Believe when I say My life just went away Who ever told you just lies

Unlike his circle of friends, Takumi Fujiwara doesn't share their fervor for cars, possessing minimal knowledge about the world of auto enthusiasts and street racing. As the son of a tofu shop owner, his daily grind involves delivering tofu each morning while navigating the treacherous roads of Akina. Consequently, car-related discussions serve as reminders of his tiresome routine.
One fateful night, the Akagi Red Suns, a renowned street racing team, descend upon Akina with the aim of conquering the local mountain pass. Under the leadership of their two star racers, Ryousuke and Keisuke Takahashi, the Red Suns aspire to dominate every racing circuit in Kanto, cementing their reputation as the region's fastest crew.
However, their confidence is shattered when one of their star drivers is outpaced by an aging Toyota AE86 during a return trip from Akina. This unforeseen event leaves the Takahashi brothers wary of an enigmatic driver who possesses extraordinary skills and an unparalleled familiarity with the local roads - the AE86 master of Mount Akina.
